Payroll Company Adds Finance Jobs in Vegas

Thursday, November 4th, 2010

A payroll company has announced they are adding finance jobs in Vegas.

Las Vegas’ largest privately held payroll company enters its tenth year in business next month and is celebrating with plans for future growth. Kimberly Miles, president of The Payroll Company Las Vegas, has grown from a few dozen clients in 2000 to nearly 900 this year and attributes her unique business philosophy to her success.

When Miles founded The Payroll Company ten years ago, she focused on distinguishing herself among her competitors by hiring competent and capable employees. “Our people are not data entry clerks, which is typical in this industry,” she said. “Our people can make decisions and are encouraged to form relationships with our clients. We have made this data-driven business into a people to people relationship business, and it has helped our clients tremendously throughout the years.”

In her first ten years of business, Miles built The Payroll Company into Las Vegas’ largest independent company of its kind. Along the way, she opened a new branch in Encino, Calif. and developed partnerships for The Payroll Company in Los Angeles, San Diego and Rochester, New York. “My goal is for The Payroll Company to become the largest privately held payroll service bureau in the country,” said Miles. “With processes and software that are being developed and tested, we will automate the payroll process and save American companies millions in the process. It is certainly an exciting time to be in the payroll industry!”

Miles has been a consistent business and community leader during her years in business. Currently the incoming president of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) Las Vegas chapter, she also assists the Center for Independent Living through HELP of Southern Nevada, along with dozens of other organizations. “We have built The Payroll Company as a people-centric place to work and do business with,” said Miles. “We apply that same philosophy to our work in the community. Our people really make the difference.”
