Savers is opening its 6th location in Las Vegas and needs to stock it with motivated, enthusiastic employees.

The International School of Hospitality has announced a key hire for education jobs in Vegas.

The International School of Hospitality (TISOH) today announced that Dr. Derek Lester has assumed the position of Director of Student Services and Institutional Planning and Accreditation Chair. Derek has worked with non-profits and universities for over 15 years. He earned a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While Derek was a graduate assistant at UNLV, he planned conferences and taught graduate level courses. His academic studies focused on higher education environments, research methods, and student learning and development. He oversees TISOH’s accreditation, student learning and instruction, and alumni affairs.

Home Depot is on a hiring spree and has announced it is hiring for seasonal jobs in Vegas.

The home improvement giant is looking to recruit about 400 people in Las Vegas.

Nationwide, it is hiring 60,000 workers in anticipation of Spring Black Friday.

The company is promoting its “Spring Black Friday” for the second year and said it would have employees hired and trained in February and March. (more…)
