Wealth management firm adds finance jobs in Vegas

Gentry Wealth Management said recently it has hired for finance jobs in Vegas.

The boutique financial planning and investment firm headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona has hired to wealth advisors who will be located in the Vegas offices.

The company said it hired Dave Humphrey and Taiya Thompson.

According to their bios, David Humphrey is a Certified Financial Planner® specializing in retirement planning, wealth preservation, and estate planning. Mr. Humphrey has been working with high net worth families for nearly 20 years. Prior to joining Gentry Wealth Management, Mr. Humphrey spent 18 years with Fidelity Investments. During his tenure with Fidelity he worked in Utah, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Nevada.

Taiya Thompson is a Certified Financial Planner® bringing more than 16 years of industry experience to Gentry Wealth Management. Prior to joining Gentry Wealth Management, Mrs. Thompson worked with Fidelity’s Private Client Group serving as the Vice President and Senior Account Executive. Mrs. Thompson is an active member of the Financial Planning Association and National Organization of Women Business Owners.

A wealth management firm has recently secured a hire for finance jobs in Vegas.

Gentry Wealth Management, a boutique financial planning and investment firm, recently added two Wealth Advisors to their office in Las Vegas, Nevada.

It has offices in Scottsdale, Arizona, Las Vegas, Nevada, and Salt Lake City, Utah.

The company hired David Humphrey and Taiya Thompson.

UnitedHealthcare hiring for customer service jobs in Vegas

Calling all workers who are currently unemployed or looking to change jobs – UnitedHealthcare is hiring for customer service jobs in Vegas.

UnitedHealthcare Group is a healthcare company that provides health care management, consulting and specialty services globally.

UnitedHealthcare of Nevada wants 40 people for its call center. The position will be called a customer service representative position.

The customer service representative position requires excellent people skills and basic computer proficiency. Those selected will need to take several training classes to be held in the coming weeks.

It was not immediately known when or exactly how long the training classes will be.

But an article did say the company provides competitive salary and healthcare benefits packages.

Representatives from the company will be on hand at the upcoming Henderson Fall Career Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at the CSN Henderson campus from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

A clinical appeals reviewer is another example of a job that is open in San Antonio.

Job duties include:

Provide expertise or general support in reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating and resolving all types of appeals and grievances.
Communicate with appropriate parties issues, implications and decisions.
Analyze and identify trends for appeals and grievances, including senior level positions with education/certification/licensure other than an RN, such as BSW, MSW, DDS, Chiropractor, Physical Therapist, etc.
Moderate work experience within own function.
Some work is completed without established procedures.
Basic tasks are completed without review by others.
Supervision/guidance is required for higher level tasks.
