Pinnacle Entertainment, owner of Lumiere Place Casino in downtown St. Louis and River City Casino in Lemay, has announced it is recruiting for hospitality jobs in Vegas.

A hiring fair will be held to recruit candidates from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 7 at HoteLumiere, 901 N. First St. in Laclede’s Landing.

The casino is looking to fill a variety of positions, including cooks, food servers, bartenders, barbacks, cocktail servers, and stewards, a staple for many casinos.

According to BizJournals.com, Lumiere plans to open the new Stadium Sports Bar and Grill this spring in the space formerly occupied by SleeK Steakhouse, which closed Jan. 31.

Candidates can register for the job fair online.

BizJournals reports that Lumiere Place and River City each brought in $14 million in revenue last month.

Pinnacle reported a loss of $23.4 million on revenue of nearly $1.1 billion for 2010.
